My name is Jen and I work for rePURPOSE Accessories, an ethical company that creates fashionable accessories made from mostly used clothing. We employ local women to help create our products, which are sold for the sole purpose of raising money for Make Way Partners and The Exodus Road. 100% of our profits support unadoptable orphans in war torn areas of Sudan, and also fund undercover investigators and their covert equipment to stop underage sex trafficking internationally and in America.
As we grow, we continue to find ways that every aspect of our business can make a difference. In fall of 2015 we expanded our collection with a new fair-trade t-shirt line. These t-shirts support workers in Cambodia by providing fair wages, good working conditions and health care. In early 2016 we launched our refugee work program in Syracuse, NY. We are employing three refugee women to make our products. This will help them earn extra money while creating lasting relationships with other women in their situation.
