I love fall! Its no secret. I love being able to wear layers, especially soft & cozy layers! Blanket scarves are one of my favorites because it literally is like wearing a blanket and it is still socially acceptable. But how to wear a blanket scarf? I feel like whenever I wear one, people always compliment me on them. And when I say they should wear one too, they say they don’t know how, or think that they can’t pull it off. Stop the lies! Everyone can wear a blanket scarf and pull it off. Over the next few weeks, I’ll show you some of my favorite ways to style one.
How to Wear a Blanket Scarf: Add Buttons!
This cute scarf from Dress and Charm already came with buttons on it, but it wouldn’t be hard to add your own! You can still wear the scarf tied, but adding the buttons gives you one more way to change things up! It turns your scarf into a cute poncho-like top!
I loved the mix of colors in this plaid, especially paired with the camel/rust color of my booties and floppy hat. Throw on your favorite jeans and a plain shirt and you’re set! And can we talk about the fringe detailing for a sec??
