How to Wear a Kimono: Over a Dress!

Kimonos are one of my favorite spring trends right now. They have such a feminine and soft look to them. I recently had a friend ask me to do a post on how to style a kimono, so I figured, why not?

We all know how much I love pattern mixing. It adds a lot of visual interest to an outfit in a relatively easy way! So I decided to pair this floral kimono with a black and white striped dress (on a side note, this striped dress is one of my current faves as well- it can be worn so many ways. You’ll see it again, I’m sure!).  I also paired this outfit with a gold tassel necklace and black booties.

I’m also excited to introduce you guys to my new favorite store. Like, I’m not even kidding. I found them while browsing through Instagram one day, and was immediately hooked. Its probably my go-to store now. I love this store, and here is why:

1. They have great prices! I’ve always been more “Quantity vs. Quality” when it comes to clothes because my styles change so quickly that I don’t want to put a ton of money into an outfit (and I’m a teacher, so there’s that as well…)

2. They have a ton of selection. This store reminds me of Forever 21 with the broad selection of clothes they carry.
