Today’s post is a fun summery look featuring this mint striped skirt from Neesees Dresses. This skirt is made of a thick scuba-like material and holds a lot of structure, which makes it so fun to wear! And I was really lucky this skirt is so thick and structured, because it was CRAZY windy when I was getting these photos. If I had been in a different skirt I would definitely have had a Marilyn Monroe moment haha. But this skirt was a champ and didn’t blow up at all!
I was trying to decide what top to wear with this cute mint striped skirt when I remembered this adorably silly popsicle tee I had gotten a few weeks earlier. The colors went perfectly together, and if you’ve been following me for awhile you know I love a good pattern mixing! I also like that the casual feel of the tee helped balance out the structured, fancy feel of the skirt. Plus its SUMMATIME so popsicles are a must!
For my accessories, I wore a simple light gold chain necklace, my Alex & Ani bracelets, some cute cognac wedges and my new favorite Leopard fold over clutch from Tara Lynn’s Boutique. Enjoy this summery look! And please excuse my crazy hair haha. There was no controlling the wind that day!
