Merry Christmas everybody! This is my favorite time of the year! I love all of the traditions and family time that come out of the holidays. Some of my favorite Christmas traditions are going to go see the lights at Temple Square in Salt Lake City, UT and wearing new Christmas jammies with my siblings and reading the story of Christ’s birth on Christmas Eve. What are some of your favorite traditions? Let me know in the comments- I love hearing Christmas stories!!
Sassy Gold Sequin Skirt
As most of you know, I’ve been participating in a 12 Days of Modest Christmas challenge with eleven other modest fashion bloggers, and it has been so much fun! Each of us has a theme we are in charge of, and we can also participate in any of the other looks as we please! Its been fun looking through the hashtag on instagram and seeing all of your fun looks you’ve posted as well! Thanks for sharing and following along!
My theme is “Sassy in Sequins” and I knew right away that this gold sequin skirt was a given for my look! I mean, its gold and it is sparkly…. how can I say no?? This skirt is so fun for the holidays, but I have also worn it throughout the year for other fun special occasions. I think every girl needs a sequin skirt!
I paired this gold sequin skirt with a deep hunter’s green top, tan and gold rockstud heels, and the prettiest gold swarovski crystal necklace. To throw in some red, I wore my red and black plaid wool peacoat I got last year (remember this post?). I wanted to this outfit to look like Christmas threw up on me, and with the combo of gold sequins, green, red, and plaid, I feel like I accomplished my goal haha.
