I am so excited to do a blog series on how to wear one of my favorite clothing items– leather leggings! How do you wear leather leggings? Leather has been one of the hottest trends, but may seem intimidating to incorporate into your everyday wardrobe.  This blog post is the first of a 3-part series on different ways to style leather leggings. Leather leggings add such a flair to any outfit. When I first thought of leather leggings, Sandy from the movie Grease wearing her skin tight black number came to mind:

While that look  is a classic and has it’s time and place, there are also so many other ways to incorporate leather into your wardrobe, including classy and edgy looks.

Look 1: Leather Leggings with a Loose, Roomy Top

My first look for this series is a simple one- but sometimes I think simple is better!  Leather leggings paired with a loose, roomy top gives a casual-chic look.  I paired my leggings with a light pink shirt that is layered with a chiffon bottom, my favorite Brina Box tassel necklace, and black pointed toe flats. My black Wayfarer sunglasses top off this casual-chic look!

I also love this type of outfit paired with sky-high heels! The great thing about leather leggings is that they really elongate your leg line, and adding heels just accentuates that even more! So, if you are going out on the town- throw on your favorite heels to really amplify your look!
