Spring and Summer bring the prettiest tops. Problem is, most of them are spaghetti straps, tanks, etc. What a disappointment! The usual way to make these tops modest is to wear a white cap sleeve tee underneath, and that can get so boring! So I thought I would share my favorite way to add a modest layer to an outfit, while still adding to the outfit instead of taking away!
To make my summer tops modest, I love to add a lace shirt underneath. This adds visual texture to the outfit and gives more variety than a tee. Plus, its just so feminine! And can we take a minute to talk about this top?? First off, I love the light teal color. The peach floral pattern is the perfect pop of color, and the crochet lace trim is the perfect detail (and goes great with the lace top, don’t you think?). I threw on a nice pink/peach teardrop necklace and the cutest glittery gold flats to finish off the look!!
